The first edition is 200sqM (2150 sq ft) and complies with Passive House standards. Modular with no wet trades - so no brickwork, render, plaster or painting.
Key components are as follows;
- Assumed level land suitable for floating raft foundation to support lightweight SIP building
- Superstructure, external walls and roof constructed in Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs)
- Metal raised seam roof with integrated solar panels
- 15,000 litre water reservoir below garage level
- Wood click flooring laid across entire open plan footprint
- Internal SIP walls 'dropped' onto finished floor to form rooms
- Acoustic ceiling and wall panels fitted with our unique click/rail system
- External cladding using charred wood panels with our unique click/rail system
- Windows, doors and garage door all meet passive house standard
